Iraqi flatbread, falafel and shawarma

At LAFFA, a wrap begins with freshly baked Iraqi flatbread. The filling decides the direction: fresh, creamy, savoury or spicy.

What goes into a laffa?

A laffa on our menu is a filled wrap in Iraqi flatbread. Try homemade falafel with hummus, vegetables, amba and tahini, or chicken with vegetables and garlic sauce. Our shawarma wrap combines lamb shawarma with vegetables and garlic sauce. The different combinations share a starting point: bread bringing the filling together in each bite.

Amba, tahini and zhug

These short names help explain the flavour. Amba brings a distinctive mango character. Tahini is sesame paste with a nutty taste. Zhug gives spicy chicken a herby, spicy direction. Not every sauce is included in every dish: check the ingredients of each wrap. Tahini contains sesame; ask the restaurant about complete allergen information and cross-contact.

Falafel or sabich?

The falafel wrap combines falafel with hummus and vegetables. Sabich follows a different direction with aubergine, egg, hummus, vegetables, amba and tahini. Both are vegetarian choices, but sabich contains egg. Related flavours appear in bowls on a couscous-salad base, allowing you to compare how you want to eat as well as which filling you want.

Make it your own meal

For something alongside your main, look at sides including hummus, labneh with za’atar, baba ganoush and batata harra. Homemade ayran and homemade lemonade appear among the drinks. Malabi offers a sweet finish with milk, pistachio and coconut. The menu lists prices and available options. Demonstration orders do not take payment or reach the kitchen.
